Ernie grew up in Litchfield County, Connecticut where his parents have owned and operated a successful Real Estate company for over 30 years. His grandfather owned Northwest Construction, which is currently operated by his uncle as Rossi Construction. Together they have built hundreds of developments through out Connecticut, and Florida during the winter months. With strong familial ties in Real Estate, construction, and the trades, Ernie added a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Vermont to his resume before turning his focus to Real Estate here in Vermont. While attending UVM, he focused on marketing and consumer behavior, along with economics and financing. Before getting into Real Estate sales, Ernie worked with a local real estate investor managing his investment portfolio now consisting of over 35 units in Burlington.

Shortly after college Ernie obtained his CRS designation, Certified Residential Specialist. Awarded to less then 4% of all REALTORS. The CRS Designation is the highest professional designation awarded to Realtors in the residential sales field. In 2007 Ernie and his team was awarded the International Presidents Circle Award, given to top 7% of Coldwell Banker Agents worldwide for exceptional sales performance. In 2008, 2009, and 2010, Ernie and his team was awarded the International Diamond Society Award. A level achieved by only the top percentage of sales associates worldwide in the Coldwell Banker system.
